How To Uploaed Digital Pictures To Flickr

Many people in this day and time like to take digital pictures. With technology today it is very simple to take a picture and show it to someone in another country. Flickr is a picture hosting site where you can create albums of your digital works.  After you upload pictures you can send a link to anyone via email, facebook, myspace or even a letter. In the following steps I will instruct you on how to upload your pictures to Flickr, so your pictures can be shared with the world.

1. First thing that you do would be to make a new folder to hold your pictures on your computer.

2. The next thing you do is to make a Flickr account. To do this go to www.flickr.com

3. Click on “create your account”

4. Since Flickr is affiliated with Yahoo, you must sign in using a Yahoo email address. If you don’t have one you can make one from this screen by clicking “Sign Up”

5. After you have signed in, you will be asked to create your Flickr screen name. Type in what you want it to be and then click “Create a New Account”

6. You have now created your account and are ready to upload some pictures.

7. Click “upload your first picture or video” and then on the next screen click “choose photos”

8. A box should pop up showing all the folders in your computer. Find the folder you saved your pictures into and then click on the ones you would like to upload.

9. The final step is to click “upload photos” and thats it.
